Wren handles real details about your wedding. Here is what it stores, who sees it, and how to get it deleted.

What we store

Your account. When you sign up, by email or with Google, we receive your name, your email address, and an account ID from our sign-in provider.

Your wedding. Your names, your city, your wedding date or the season you are aiming for, where the ceremony is, your guest count, your budget and how you split it by category, and how far along your planning is.

Your money plan. What you have saved, what you plan to save each month, and anyone who might help pay: who they are, what they might give, and any notes you add.

Your lists. Your guest list, including any mailing addresses you add, and the people in your wedding party and their roles. Wren does not contact anyone on these lists, and it does not send their names or addresses to vendors or to the AI model.

If you are on someone's list. Couples can add guests, wedding party members, and family who might help pay. We use those details only to help that couple plan, and we delete them when the couple's wedding is deleted.

Your words. What you tell Wren about the wedding you want, the brief it writes from that, the edits you make to it, and your notes on what you want from each kind of vendor.

Your vendor conversations. The full text of every message Wren drafts for you, every message you write yourself, and every reply a vendor sends back. Both directions, kept as long as your account exists.

What the AI did. Records of what Wren asks the AI model and what it answers. We keep these so we can tell why it wrote what it wrote, and fix it when it gets something wrong.

Your partner. If you invite your partner, we store the email address you enter and send them an invitation. Once they join, they have their own sign-in and see the same wedding you do. We keep a history of changes so the two of you can see who did what.

How you use Wren. Which pages you open, and actions such as approving a draft, counted in our own database so we can see what works. These records hold no names and none of your messages or notes.

Your feedback. If you answer a feedback prompt, we store your answers, including whether you would pay for Wren and how much.

What vendors see

Vendors see only what is in the messages you approve. Those messages usually carry your names, your date or season, your city, your guest count, and what you want from that vendor. Wren leaves your budget out. If a vendor asks about budget, a reply draft may give a rough range for that vendor's category, and you see it before anything sends.

Every email Wren sends for you ends with a short note saying it was sent on your behalf, carrying both of your names, and saying that replies reach you directly. Those emails come from a Wren address of your own, so a vendor can write back without ever learning your personal one. The note also says an AI assistant helped write it and tells vendors they can reply STOP to stop hearing from you. We honor that.

Nothing else in your account reaches a vendor: not your full budget, your other vendors, or your guest list.

Prices, across couples

When a vendor quotes you a price, or you book one, we store the amount and the vendor so Wren can tell other couples what that vendor tends to charge. The record keeps a reference to your account so we can trace a number back if it turns out to be wrong, but nothing that identifies you is ever shown to another couple.

Who else touches your data

We use each service below only for the job listed next to it. Our AI provider does not train on what we send.

• Our sign-in provider, for your login and account credentials
• Our database host, where your information is stored
• Our hosting provider, which runs the site and keeps server logs
• Our email provider, for sending and receiving email
• Our AI model provider, reached through an AI gateway, for writing your brief, finding vendors, drafting messages, and reading replies
• A maps and places service, for finding vendors and for checking that the mailing addresses you add for guests can receive mail. For vendors we send your city, the kind of vendor, your search words and a few words about the style you want. For addresses we send only the address. We never send your names, contact details, or budget, or your guests' names.
• Our email forwarding service and support mailbox, if you email us
• Our payment processor, for charging your card and sending receipts.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. There are no ad trackers or outside analytics on this site. The only cookies Wren sets keep you signed in and remember small settings, such as your time zone. The one exception is a guest who replies on a couple's wedding website: a cookie called wren_rsvp remembers their household for 90 days, we keep a hashed copy of their IP address, used only to limit repeated name searches, and any dietary notes or plus-one name they type are stored for the couple.

Keeping it, and deleting it

We keep your information as long as your account exists. If you created your wedding in Wren, email support@wren.wedding from your account's address and ask us to delete it. We will delete the wedding and everything tied to it within 30 days, including both partners' logins, in Wren's database and in our sign-in system, and email you when it is done. If you joined as a partner, ask the same way and we will delete your login and your membership. The wedding, including the names on it, stays with the partner who created it.

One thing outlives deletion: we keep quote amounts with your account reference stripped off, because they are no longer about you. Copies our email, hosting and AI model providers hold, such as sent emails, server logs and AI requests, expire on those providers' own schedules.

Security

Traffic to and from Wren is encrypted. Your information sits in a managed database that is not open to the public, and only the people who run Wren can reach it or the admin tools. No online service can promise perfect security, so we do not promise it either.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and email you before the change applies to information we already hold.
