Wren is run by one person, Ryan Wanamaker, and it handles real details about your wedding. Here is exactly what it stores, who sees it, and how to get it deleted.

What we store

Your account. When you sign up, by email or with Google, we receive your name, your email address, and an ID from the sign-in provider. If you ever sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple's private relay address instead of your real one, and that is all we get.

Your wedding. Your names, your city, your wedding date or the season you are aiming for, your guest count, your total budget and how you split it by category, and how far along your planning is.

Your words. What you tell Wren about the wedding you want, the brief it writes from that, and the edits you make to it.

Your vendor conversations. The full text of every message Wren drafts for you, and the full text of every reply a vendor sends back. Both directions, kept as long as your account exists.

What the AI did. Every request Wren sends to the AI model and every response it gets back. We keep these so we can tell why it wrote what it wrote, and fix it when it gets something wrong.

Your feedback. If you answer a feedback prompt, we store your answers, including whether you would pay for Wren and how much.

What vendors see

Every email Wren sends for you ends with a short note saying it was sent on your behalf, carrying both of your names, and saying that replies reach you directly. Those emails come from a Wren address of your own, so a vendor can write back without ever learning your personal one. It also tells them they can reply STOP to stop hearing from you, and we honor that.

Vendors do not see your budget, your other vendors, your brief, or anything else in your account.

Prices, across couples

When a vendor quotes you a price, we store the amount and the vendor so Wren can tell other couples what that vendor tends to charge. The record keeps a reference to your account so we can trace a number back if it turns out to be wrong, but nothing that identifies you is ever shown to another couple.

Who else touches your data

Each of these is a company paid to do one job, bound by its own agreement to protect what it handles. None of them has permission to use your information for their own purposes, and the AI provider does not train its models on what we send.

• Clerk, for sign-in and your account credentials
• Neon, for the database your information lives in
• Vercel, for hosting and server logs
• Resend, for sending and receiving email
• Anthropic, through the Vercel AI Gateway, for drafting messages and reading replies
• Google Places, for finding vendors. We send a location and a category, never your details.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. We do not run ad trackers or analytics scripts. We do not scrape wedding directory sites.

Keeping it, and deleting it

We keep your information as long as your account exists. Email support@wren.wedding from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete your account and everything tied to it within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.

Two things outlive deletion. If you or a vendor opted out of email, we keep that opt-out so we do not email them again. And we keep quote amounts with your account reference stripped off, because they are no longer about you.

Security, honestly

Traffic is encrypted. Your information sits in a managed database that is not public. One person, Ryan, has administrative access. Wren is a small beta, not a company with a security team, so please do not put anything in it that you would not want a small operation to hold.

Changes

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and email you before the change applies to information we already hold.
